Live: Champions Trophy 2025 India Squad announcement: The eagerly awaited ICC Champion Trophy is poised to return nearly eight years later and will occur next month. The tournament will feature Eight top teams worldwide, including India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and host Pakistan.

So far, six teams have announced their squads for the marquee event. India and Pakistan will reveal their respective squads in the coming days. The tournament begins on February 19 when Pakistan faces New Zealand in Karachi. They started their campaign a day later against Bangladesh in Dubai.

The Indian team management is sweating over the fitness of their pace spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, who suffered back spasms towards the end of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this month. Rohit Sharma is likely to lead the squad, which will face England in a three-match ODI series right before the start of the Champions Trophy.

The tournament will be held in a Hybrid Model, with India playing its matches in Dubai and the rest of the games taking place in various venues in Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
