Dhoni looks in vintage touch in CSK nets ahead of IPL opener
Legendary captain MS Dhoni made fans frenzy by unleashing his trademark ‘helicopter shot’ during Chennai Super Kings’ nets session. In a viral video, the 40-year-old rolled back years as he easily smashed bowlers in the build-up to their IPL 2024 opener versus Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Sporting his long locks, Dhoni seemed in a great flow and timed the ball sweetly under the watchful eyes of batting coach Michael Hussey.
Speculation is rife that this season could be Dhoni’s swansong, intensifying anticipation around his performances. He would aim for a fitting finale after shouldering CSK to a record-extending fifth title last year while injured.
