Musheer Khan stable after road accident.

Meanwhile, doctors have declared Mumbai starlet Musheer Khan as being in a stable condition when she was involved in a road accident on the outskirts of Lucknow.

Musheer traveled from Lucknow to his hometown of Azamgarh on October 1 before participating in the Irani Cup. His father, Naushad Khan, also accompanied him.

However, he didn’t suffer major injuries apart from minor scratches in the accident on the Purvanchal Expressway, in which his car hit a divider and overturned.

Musheer will miss a minimum of three months of action, considering the neck injuries he suffered after the accident, PTI, quoting Press Trust of India, reported.

That means he will also miss the Irani Cup and a few matches for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season.

I can confirm that the cricketer is out of danger,” said Dr Bhola Singh, Medical Superintendent at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow.

“Cricketer Musheer Khan, who sustained injuries in a road accident on the Purvanchal Expressway, was brought to the emergency department of Medanta Hospital due to sharp pains in his neck.

His treatment is being conducted under Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Director of the Department of Orthopedics.”.

His condition is stable, and he is out of danger,” said Dr Singh.

At 19, he is arguably India’s most prominent prospect so far after some stellar performances in the recently concluded ICC U-19 World Cup 2024, where he was the second-highest run-getter with 360 runs.

He also represented Mumbai State in his first-class career, scoring 716 runs in 9 games, including a fantastic 181 in the Duleep Trophy opener for India B against India A.
