Pakistan pursues Viv Richards as T20 World Cup mentor

As the world is looking forward to the future T20 World Cup cricket opportunity, Pakistan is planning a bold final strike to get West Indies’ master blaster Vivian “Viv” Richards as a mentor of the Pakistan Cricket Team to be held in the T20 event.

This year’s cycle of the upcoming tournament will still be played in the USA and the West Indies, and it is unique in many ways. Twenty teams will compete for the[/more soccer, conceding the goal title.

Before the final confrontation, according to Pakistani sources, the PCB is said to be in dialogue with Richie for contributing his wisdom and best insights about Caribbean cricket.

Richards has had the opportunity to mentor Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League and highlighted efforts to utilize his experience for the betterment of Pakistan cricket, especially in the World Cup events.

But, there lies a problem as the PCB would require Richards’ services to do this, and this is currently a known media man for the tournament. However, the board’s decision on this deal shows that they are willing to ensure that they secure the T20 World cup trophy.
