Virat Kohli shines in IPL despite RCB’s struggles; reveals alternate career interest

Currently at Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Virat Kohli, a trend-setting batter, is simply amazing in the IPL this year. In the ten-match innings RCB played, it could only secure three victories. But Kohli’s exceptional performances continue to shine, even in the tough situations faced by the team.

In this lead of 500 runs, he scored in ten matches; he ranks as one of the highest run-scorers in the tournament. A 35-year-old iconic fitness freak and keen cricketer who has become everyone’s idol since then.

Lately, during a function, Kohli was asked: If he hadn’t pursued cricket, then what would be his alternate career choice? He replied that he would have gone for professional tennis. He cited his uncertainty but bore business as something he wanted to do or explore in the future.

He was honest enough to say that the thought never crossed his mind, and he was unfamiliar with the business world. He jokingly added that he will not be able to last without being a cricket player because bigger and more experienced people will exploit him.

Nevertheless, the Youtuber acknowledged that while skilling himself in the business, he has steadily learned its intricate workings and faced challenges and setbacks in the process.

While his remarkable cricketing accomplishments have been well-documented, Kohli went on to diversify his portfolio and launch his venture. He has used his capital to start several businesses, including Cafe Rage, a fitness club called Chisel, a clothing line called WROGN, and Blue Tribe, exclusively owned by his wife, Anushka Sharma.

While Kohli’s batting skills deserved the ratings and scores, he had been receiving charges of remarks about him on his strike rate. In contrast, he defended himself because his task was paramount to the team’s victory and beyond the statistics. Kohli meant to silence the critics, saying that the baseless opinions arise from ignorance regarding the pressure we face on the field. Throughout their employment, he is loyal to the job functions and is determined to achieve the results his team trusts in him.
