Virat Kohli’s RCB crashed out of IPL 2024 despite the star batsman’s efforts

There was no change in 2011, as RCB fans were once again left waiting on the sidelines while their team fell short of the ultimate prize in the IPL for another year. Even though the team was backed by a tremendous individual performance from Kohli, the RCB couldn’t make it further than the playoffs, eliminating the hopes of their dedicated fans.

Kohli proved that he is a class apart from the rest, especially with the bat, and he was brilliant in the latter part of the tournament. However, his flaw was that he had a long arm in the playoffs that hunted him and the franchise. The LO ability of the former India captain of not being able to carry out big scores during crucial junctures is not something new.

The failure of RCB’s team efforts by their star batsmen, top order, including Faf du Plessis, Cameroon Green, and Rajat Patidar, added to the team’s miseries. They are out of the final for that very reason, neglecting a decent pitch and not being able to secure a target that could have been compelling.

In the wake of Kohli’s changing his sights to the T20 World Cup in 2024, the Indian team management hopes that the experienced batsman will bring his best to the major event and end the jinx of his consistent failure in the knock-out stage for the Men in Blue.

It looks like RCB fans will have to wait another year to see their team carry the coveted IPL trophy home, but wait, the young team is still on its journey to achieve this ambition.
