Yograj, father of former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, has been quite vocal about his distaste for MS Dhoni and says the latter has destroyed his son’s career.
Yograj, who has not spared any opportunity to abuse Dhoni, believes that Yuvraj had more cricket left in him to offer to India, but his career was dipped by four to five years by Dhoni.
Moreover, Yograj went to the extent of saying that Yuvraj should be given Bharat Ratna, the highest civil award of India, for his services in taking Indian cricket through his career.
In a recent interview for the Switch YouTube channel, Yograj said, “I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at himself in the mirror.
He is a very prominent cricketer; I salute him. But what he did to my son is unforgivable. Everything is coming to light now, and it can never be forgiven.
He further added about Dhoni: That man has ruined my son’s life. Who could have played for four to five years? I challenge everyone to have a son like Yuvraj.”
Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said that there will never be another Yuvraj Singh. India should award him the Bharat Ratna for playing through cancer and winning the World Cup for the country.”.
