Thus, Delhi University (DU) continues to be in a state of limbo because the CUET-UG results have yet to be declared, which has affected the university’s academic session.
Irresponsible and inconvenient CUET-UG exams have again brought DU administration and lakhs of students in a state of waiting. Besides, the university had planned to open the phase two admission portal to fill 71,000 seats on or before July 2 from CUET-UG score, but the result missing has retarded their plans.
The result has not been declared yet, but yes, it will affect the AC for the student’s first semester in the courses for which admission is through CUET-UG. The semester is likely to commence on August 16.
However, the administration of CUET-UG through the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been facing some issues, including paper leak charges, apart from the actual revelation of the outcomes.
Answering the concern, UGC Chief M Jagadesh Kumar said the NTA is making efforts to declare the results earlier. But the waiting game continues, and both DU and the aspiring students are in a state of suspense.
