In a major break for medical and dental admission seekers, the MCC has released the rough plan of operation for the NEET UG 2024 counseling session.
This is a notification that the NEET UG counseling registration process will start on August 14 and end on August 20. This counseling process will apply to MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) programs meant for Sidho Kanjo Kanjilal Medical College and Hospital and other associated Medical Colleges.
The counseling will be held in four phases. The first registration phase starts on August 14, 2021, and ends on August 21, 2021. Seats will be allocated on August 21 and 22, and the results will be announced on August 23. The reporting or joining dates will be from August 24 to 29.
These aspects would be negotiated in a counseling session lasting approximately 1. MBBS seats 10 lakh in approximately 710 medical colleges in India and 21 thousand BDS, AYUSH, and nursing courses. The counseling fee for the 15% All India Quota seat is also different category-wise and fluctuates between 500 and 1000 Rs. Also, a security deposit of up to Rs 10000 is expected to be deposited at the start of the contract period.
There were 416 medical colleges in India in 2018, an increase of 88% compared to 2014. Therefore, the number of MBBS seats has jumped to 67,000, or an increase of 118%.
