The MCC has officially released the NEET UG counseling schedule for 15% All India Quota for students wanting to pursue medical education in their dream college.
The tentative date presented in the notice by the MCC is for the NEET UG counseling to begin in the academic year 2024, starting on August 14th, 2024. However, the registration process for the counseling is slated to start in the first week of August, which would enable candidates to proceed with their agenda of getting a seat.
In this regard, the MCC stated in the notice that the NEET UG Counselling for the academic session 2024 will likely begin on August 14, 2024, Tentatively. However, the registration process for the counseling may start in the first week of August 2024.
The MCC will conduct the NEET UG counseling in three rounds, along with a mop-up or stray vacancy round. Three of the rounds, including the main round, will be functional for registration, while the stray vacancy round will only be for the already registered candidates.
As per the mentioned schedule, the tentative seat matrix will be verified from the date 14. 08. 2024 to 16. 08. 2024.
To arrest this trend, I would like to bring to your attention that this year, 24,06,079 students registered for the NEET UG examination, and 23,33,297 students appeared for this examination, which was held on May 5, 2024. The NEET UG results were declared on 04 June 2024, and a supplementary exam was held on 23 June 2024. The final TENTATIVE result of NEET UG was released on 26 July 2024.
