A 20-year-old third-year computer science student from Noida, Isha got her dream internship at Google for their software engineering program in 2025. She said she was happy when she saw her name on the final list and referred to the experience as incredible. Isha had worked hard to achieve her success.
Isha described her experience on X, which was previously Twitter. There, she disclosed the selection process, which began in June and was initiated through her college’s Training and Placement (TnP). Only 30 students qualified for the interviews after they had undertaken an online test on July 13.
The first interview lasted about 50 minutes and consisted of two moderately to highly difficult data structures and algorithms (DSA) questions that the candidate was able to solve. After this, Isha had the second interview based on priority queues, and Isha could explain them as clearly as priorities, including the solutions and the complexities.
A day later, her college declared the list of selected candidates, and to Isha’s surprise, her name was listed. Her post was also liked, with nearly 3k likes and lots of comments from students who were struggling with the preparation methods she used. Isha was also very responsive to her followers; she stated her difficulties and tools.
