AAP accuses BJP of conspiring to endanger Delhi CM’s health in jail

Shouldering the AAP’s political fight, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Sangha has blamed the BJP for endangering the health of Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is lodged in Tihar Jail.

Alleging that Kejriwal’s medical reports suggest that his life is in danger, Singh made some serious charges against the BJP, saying it wants to “kill” the AAP leader.

Singh was livid and accused the BJP of playing with Kejriwal’s health by not allowing him to get home before the peak hour of voting. ‘’First, they used to say that he is consuming sweets and attempting to raise his sugar levels, while now they are expressing that he stopped eating.’’.

These words of the AAP leader come a day after the party accused the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi, VK Saxena, of suggesting that Kejriwal was ‘purposely trying to fall sick. ’ The party demanded an “open intellectual campaign against BJP which has hatched a sinister plan to kill” the AAP leader.

On the same day in the communication addressed to the Chief Secretary, the L. G.’s office also complained about non–consumption of Kejriwal’s prescribed medical diet & medicines while in the judicial custody in Tihar Jail.

The communication quoted the Tihar Jail Superintendent’s report stating that the Chief Minister had practical multiple episodes of ‘willful low-calorie intake’ even when home-cooked food was being supplied to him.

The report also disclosed that Kejriwal had challenged the doctors to administer his insulin; he did not take it before dinner on July 7.

Regarding these allegations, Singh leveled the BJP of planning a conspiracy to jeopardize the health of Kejriwal and, more so, endanger his life.

I have seen Arvind Kejriwal’s medical report; anything can happen to him at any time,” the AAP MP added. It is also important to note that some characters in the play warn others that there is a conspiracy to kill Kejriwal.

This ongoing war of words between AAP and the BJP-led Central government AIIMS doctors over the health condition of the Delhi Chief Minister has certainly raised the political temperatures in the national capital.
