On Monday, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh went on a public rant making serious allegations against BJP and the Narendra Modi government. Singh asserted that the PMO is orchestrating a campaign in Parliament to malign Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Singh pointed out that the BJP has attempted to stab Kejriwal in the back in the past and is doing so now that he is openly threatened. Threatening messages have been uncovered in Patel Nagar metro station and Rajiv Chowk metro station whereby Singh says the BJP and the PMO are engineering these.
Lauding the way Delhi’s CM has been raising issues in the national capital, Singh even said that Modi ji’s hatred for Kejriwal has reached such dimensions that he could go to any extent: If anything happens to Kejriwal, then the BJP and PMO must be held accountable.
An AAP leader also explained that the message is written by a person named Ankit Goyal, and the language he uses is almost the same as that of the BJP. Singh claimed that the party is already writing a letter to the Election Commission to request a meeting to discuss these issues.
The allegations emerge at a time when political confrontations in the national capital region are at an all-time high, with the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party in a continuous scrum over various issues. Thus, these developments have incited fears for politicians’ safety and the electoral system’s security.
