AAP vs. Maliwal: viral video spat escalates tensions

A recent, intricate episode in Delhi politics as of now, shows the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal in a political war involving furious bickering. This frenzy happened after a viral video showed up.

The video’s authenticity is under question as it purports to show a case of Maliwal fighting with the laborers at the residence of the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal. However, in the recording, Maliwal is heard lecturing the staff and telling them that she had given the cops a call and she would only step out of there when the police arrived unless he touched her again. The only thing she will make sure that the guy loses his job if he harasses her.

The incident aroused the AAP’s fury, and its president, Dilip Pandey, used his social media following to attack Maliwal for being “arrogant.” He accused her of dealing with sensitive issues by being “misleading.” TAAP allegedly completed a video revealing the “real status” with Maliwal.

Then, the latest thing that happened was that she blamed Kejriwal’s close friend Bibhav Kumar for assaulting her at the cM’s house. Surprisingly, the AAP has said that the party fully supports (supports) Maliwal, and thus, both sides keep sharpening their knives.

The stalemate in the federal capital takes on an air of political drama as the two parties battle to see which succeeds in preserving their respective narratives.
