The Ram temple project in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya won the prestigious ‘Sword of Honour,’ the highest accolade in safety management.
In Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya, the much-acclaimed Ram temple project has won a much-coveted accolade: ‘Sword of Honour,’ one of the highest accolades bestowed under the name of safety management.
Nripendra Misra, who chairs the Construction Committee of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, confirmed the development. He expressed his happiness that the project had reached a new milestone.
The British Safety Council conducts the audit of the process, practices, and, finally, on-site activity assessments. As stated by a statement issued by the Ram Mandir construction committee, only those who gain a five-star assessment qualify to enter the ‘Sword of Honour’ award contest.
In another feat, Larsen & Toubro, the multi-national company entrusted with the construction of the Ram temple, was also awarded the ‘Golden Trophy’ by the National Safety Council for safety measures taken in the construction of the Ram Temple, the statement added.
The temple project, therefore, merges cultural heritage with engineering excellence. As per the statement, construction by Larsen & Toubro was closely coordinated with Tata Consulting Engineers; effective oversight by the Construction Committee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Khatri Trust ensures quality.
