Union Home Minister Amit Shah has vented his anger towards the Congress party for manufacturing doctored footage into the wider public point of view that shows him condemning OBC and SC/ST. At a news conference at Guwahati, Shah expressed his disgust with the Congress’s playing with truth and facts. Such acts, he believed, result from the only depressed and delirious imagination of their use. He stated that since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) existed, all OBC and SC/ST communities have always been favoured by the Party.
The edited video was constructed so that Shah was given the impression that,
“If BJP becomes the ruling party, it will come up and close the reservation of SC, ST, and OBC that are beyond the constitution.”
In actual sense, this was the original speech given in Telangana in 2023. The BJP aimed at removing the unconstitutional reservation of Muslims.
The suspect responsible for producing a so-called fake video of a young woman has been taken into custody by the Assam Police and is facing legal action.
While Amit Shah was already advocating for the same in Kasganj (Uttar Pradesh), promising that the BJP is taking this job of preserving the reservation for SC, ST, and OBC-categorized people, the opposition seems to be exploiting their lack of awareness among the illiterate mass. He bashed Rahul Gandhi for propagating false views and misleading the BJP reservation position.
Amit Shah made it clear that the BJP would never debate on fake videos nor base their election on lies and accused Rahul Gandhi of bringing the level of Indian politics down since his appointment as party leader. Then, to counter Rahul Gandhi’s “X-ray” comment, Shah simply said that these people would not allow him to realize those actions in their lives.
