Amit Shah lashed out at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his ‘throw out PM Modi before dying’ statement, saying that it only reflected the “hatred and fear” the Congress had for the Prime Minister.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday tore into Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his “I won’t die until Prime Minister Narendra Modi is removed from power” remark, terming it “disgraceful” and a “bitter display of spite.”
Eighty-three-year-old Kharge made the remark at a rally in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. The Congress chief fell ill on the stage during his speech but resumed after a brief halt to make the controversial remark.
In a tweet, Shah said Kharge’s remarks reflected the “hatred and fear” Congress leaders nursed towards PM Modi and slammed the Congress chief for seeking to drag the Prime Minister into his health issues.
