Amit Shah: UCC to Be Implemented, Tribals Excluded

Apparently, for a long time, there has been concern about the impact of the Uniform Civil Code on tribal communities that have customary and traditional practices.

If voted to power in Jharkhand, the BJP will deliberate on the Sarna religious code issue and make decisions appropriate to the situation.

“We will form a Displacement Commission to rehabilitate all the people displaced by industries and mines in Jharkhand,” Shah said. We will create employment for 5 lakh people, out of which 2.87 lakh will be jobs with the government,” Shah added.

He said the ‘Mati, Beti, Roti’ (land, daughter and food) of the country were in danger due to illegal immigrants and the BJP would ensure protection for the tribal people. “Hindus are being attacked, and appeasement is at its peak. Jharkhand is the most corrupt state in the country,” he claimed.

BJP’s Big Promises For Tribals In Jharkhand The party had made several promises ahead of the Jharkhand elections, like making a law for returning the land occupied by the infiltrators to the tribals and ensuring that the infiltrators marrying tribal women are not given tribal status to protect the identity and rights of these communities.

The BJP promised financial aid to develop tribal religious and cultural sites in the state and allocated Rs 5o0 crore for the protection of tribal language, history, culture, and traditions. It also promised to honour tribal heroes like Birsa Munda, Sido, and Kanhu Murmu.

The Congress has always worked against the interests of backward classes; it has done nothing for them.

Instead, regarding this section of society, the Modi government has allowed a daughter of Santhal, Draupadi Murmu, to become the country’s President, said Amit Shah in Ranchi.
