A recent incident in Bengaluru has caught the attention of netizens. A motorcyclist and an auto-rickshaw passenger got into a fiery confrontation over smoking in public. The incident occurred in JP Nagar’s 5th phase, where tensions escalated when the auto passenger’s cigarette inadvertently touched the biker’s leg while passing by on his two-wheeler. What followed was a heated argument between the two parties.
The motorcyclist, identified as Sheikh Moin, took to social media to share his side of the story. In a series of videos capturing the altercation, Moin accused the auto driver of reckless driving, nearly causing a collision with his bike.He also criticized the driver for allowing smoking within the vehicle.
However, the auto passenger defended his right to smoke inside the hired auto. He accused Moin of seeking attention by recording the incident and sarcastically remarked, “Are you treating me like a celebrity that you’re filming me?”
Moin’s videos quickly gained traction online, drawing the attention of the Bengaluru City Police. The police promptly reached out to Moin, requesting his contact details, and assured him that the matter would be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities.
