Alarm as Blast Injures Nine at Bengaluru Cafe People felt alarmed after a blast injured nine at a popular Bengaluru cafe today. The incident occurred in the Kundalahalli area. It was captured on CCTV cameras.
The busy cafe is usually filled with crowds. Now, police tape fences off the site. Experts look for clues at the scene. The wounded were rushed to hospitals quickly. Investigators gather accounts from witnesses. They also examine CCTV footage to understand what happened.
The morning had started normally for customers. Most regulars came for the food, familiar faces, and cozy atmosphere. But a visibly upset witness said.
A shortly after 12:30 pm, a loud blast disrupted the chatter. Confusion followed as patrons fled for safety. “It sounded like a huge bomb exploded. There was smoke everywhere. People screamed. We had no clue what was happening,”
The gravity emerged as the dust settled. Karnataka’s Chief Minister Siddaramaiah confirmed nine were injured, some seriously. Early findings suggest a homemade bomb in a bag exploded.
“CCTV shows someone leaving a bag before the blast. We are following this lead,” a senior officer stated.
The motive is unclear. But agencies believe extremists were involved. The distressed cafe owner told MP Tejasvi Surya a customer’s bag, not a gas cylinder, caused the blast.
As a shocked Bengaluru seeks answers, police request eyewitnesses come forward to aid the investigation. This upsetting event has made residents question if their city is now unsafe from random terror acts.
