Bihar: A bus carrying security personnel collides with a container in Gopalganj, leaving two Jawans dead and several officials injured.

The accident happened on the NH-27 road, a bit after Brahimi Mor, within Sedalia Police limits. The junction experienced disorder for some time after the crash.

New Delhi: A dreadful event took place in Gopalganj, Bihar, wherein two soldiers were killed and 10 to 15 people were left injured after an unforgiving collision between a bus carrying security force members on the campaign trail and a container truck. The event had taken place near NH-27, just a few hundred yards from Brahimi Mor, which happens to be in the jurisdiction of the Sedalia police post. After the crash, there was confusion with drivers trying to make their way out of the area.

(Gopalganj SP Swarm Prabhat said,

“They were acting as loyal watchdogs.”

They had halted at a hot canteen next to the roadside to get their lunch. While traveling in a bus, containers hit it from behind. There have been casualties. Two of our jawans have paid a hefty price, may fast, and one of the soldiers injured mortally said to a lady officer in Bargen, “We will not travel to Sepal till elections.”.

According to reports, there were three buses and, altogether, 242 men and women police. This contingent of police from the local line was going to Sepal for election duties. As a breakfast short break near Tanker headway, another baggage container exploded, striking the upper bus of the fleet, leading to more crashes of other vehicles in the fleet.
