BJP Leader accuses TMC of attacking party workers in West Bengal

The contemporary situation is that Suvendu Adhikari, a leader regarded as a star with the BJP in West Bengal, has leveled serious charges against the Trinamool Congress, the governing party in West Bengal. Adhikari tops the charge sheet against TMC for unleashing acts of violence and physically assaulting BJP workers. This grim picture of state politics portents to an unfavorable political landscape in the state before general elections.

Adhikari’s account was ablaze on social media, adding pictures and videos of the alleged incident in which TMC musclemen engaged in attacking BJP workers in the assembly constituency of Canning Purba. The first thing, Zahid came forward to send his message to Hossain Sheikh, the personal man of Canning’s Purba MLAs. Saokat Molla is one of them.

Calling the phenomena specifically problematic, Adhikanari advised all the electoral participants to pay closer attention to what’s happening in West Bengal, especially in the light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He asked the Election Commission of India to immediately intervene and take necessary steps towards banning Hossain Sheik. Adhikary urged the commission not to let clown Saokat Molla sway them, suggesting that he may be too much of a magician to manipulate the polls.

In his appeal to the poll body, Adhikari’s argument about the necessity to avoid rerunning the 2021 post-poll violence and the violent events during the 2023 Panchayat Elections in West Bengal indicates his intention to achieve this goal. He stressed that such figures should be taken into custody and bargaining room until the elections are held under free and fair conditions.

Finally, the responsibility lies upon the Election Commission to silence these allegations and quickly act to maintain law and order and respect the democratic principles of fair and free elections. Adhikari’s statement demonstrates once again the case for campaigning and preserving the rule of law and authoritarian thinking in real election situations.
