BJP slams Rahul Gandhi’s comments on Ram Janmabhoomi movement

Vicious sentiments: As a response policy, the BJP reacts sharply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remark on the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Only Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan insulted Mahatma Gandhi, calling him a childish person who has not grown up and an antisocial element who is spreading confusion and lies about the Ram temple.

Chouhan said that the Ram Janmabhoomi movement has eliminated the Congress many times and—yes—it has prepared the ground for the construction of a pious and mega temple. As committed to falsehood as Gujarat’s Gandhi, she had tried to depict this movement as defeated. But Ram is our existence, our ideal, our life, our God, and Ram is the identity of India.

On the occasion, Gandhi said that INDIA had beaten the BJP in Ayodhya, thereby setting the Ram Mandir movement back. Leader of ally Lok Janshakti Party Chirag Paswan slammed Gandhi for the remark, saying that ‘he should know that it is Faizabad Lok Sabha, not Ayodhya.’

The battle between Congress and the BJP regarding the Ram temple issue is expected to get rougher in the 2024 general elections as the BJP emphasizes its work towards constructing a Ram Temple.
