Breaking: Arunachal pradesh and sikkim’s lok sabha election counting date has been moved to june 2

However, the announcement of this shift by the Election Commission of India left many activists surprised.

Contrary to the amended timetable put forward by the ECI, votes in these two northeastern states are to be counted two days earlier, on June 2 as opposed to June 4.

People are taken aback as the counting schedule to be observed is always announced with a prior notice, which includes all the participants and to whom it will hamper thoroughly.

According to political watchdogs, this method may be the tool for his party to get the credits in these two states early since the parliamentary programs will be very busy.

Two states of North-East India conducted multi-layered voting on the nine polling days in the last month of April and early May during the general election. The outcome could be in the form of different players in power bargaining in the ruling party at the Centre.

The ECI, in just two days shifting the counting, may have led to the formation of alliances—of parties and groups—as they try to negotiate the best seats after the election.

Hence, the preponement has proven to be the source of the speculations about the secret agreements that could have been reached behind the scenes through last-minute action, resulting in the plans that the candidates and voters are to change.
