The CBI made major raids on Saturday as it arrested two key persons, Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, and police officer Abhijit Mondal. Both are accused of interfering with the probe into the rape and murder of a trainee doctor in the state-run facility last month.
A trainee doctor who was to appear for his examination was found dead in the hostel on August 9.
