Civic supervisor killed in tractor-motorcycle collision in Ambala

In a tragic accident, one of the duty supervisors of the Kalka-Pinjore Municipal Committee, a 30-year-old man, was killed while he was riding his motorcycle that collided with a tractor-trolley near Shahazadpur in Ambala, Haryana.

The mishap took place on Sunday night, and the deceased has been identified as Saurabh Kumar of Pathreri village. Saurabh was employed by the civic body under Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN).

The police claimed that the tractor-trolley was overspeeding and had knocked Saurabh’s motorcycle, leading to the deadly accident. This bereaved family’s younger son Saurabh brought his brother Gaurav to the hospital, who was declared as brought dead.

‘I have taken my brother to hospital with the help of commuters; however, he could not survive,’ said Gaurav and informed that the driver of a tractor-trolley had run away, leaving the vehicle, which was not even painted with a number plate. But the engine and the chassis number proved it to be Kamal Tractor of Rajouli village of Murad Nagar P S.

The tragic event has put the Kalka-Pinjore Municipal Committee and the local people in a situation of sorrow and stress, so the government and the authorities must make serious efforts to ensure the traffic rules and regulations to minimize sad events in the future.
