Congress alleges ‘mass rigging’ in new rules for counting agents

They said Congress MP Ajay Makena accused the AAP of not permitting candidates’ counting agents at the ARO tables.

The Congress leaders have accused the BJP of using alleged derogatory language for its anti-BJP policies, saying that counting agents of candidates were not allowed to sit at the Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) tables during the counting process for Lok Sabha polls on June 4.

The Rajya Sabha MP said it was a much bigger problem than the alleged EVM rigging. Visit the webpage demonstrated by the Election Commission of India and ponder over the matter.

It really needs to not allow the candidate’s counting agents for the first time!!! I have contested 9 Lok Sabha and Vidhana Sabha Polls; this is my first time; if true, then it is even bigger than EVM rigging. Make tweeted.

“I am flagging this issue for all candidates. I sincerely hope that the Election Commission of India will act on it soon,” he added.

The Congress general secretary, Jairam Ramesh, felt the pulse of anger of the Congress party by responding to the issue and calling it “mass rigging.”.

But the Chief Electoral of Delhi also stated that the counting of candidates’ agents will be permissible at the table of ROs and AROs in counting.

Ballots for all 543 parliamentary seats are going to be counted tomorrow, on Tuesday, June 4.

The favored exit polls point to an even bigger triumph for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with Narendra Modi likely to return to power for the third consecutive term.

Pollsters predicted that the NDA should and perhaps would be capable of getting even more than 2019’s 353 seats and could easily achieve a figure of 350–380 seats. At least three pollsters conducted by the Indian news website, including India Today-Axis My India, predicted the NDA crossing the 400 mark in the House.

India Today-Axis My India poll expected 131–166 seats for the incumbent Indian opposition bloc.
