Congress leader withdraws nomination in Indore, embraced by BJP

The Congress party has just faced another failure when it comes to its upcoming Lok Sabha elections and none other than a well-known and respected leader decided to withdraw his candidacy for the Indore seat, namely Mr. Akshy Kati Bam. The scheduled announcement on Monday and the agency PTI announcing the news appeared in the news.

Shockingly, Bam, whom the Congress gave the task of challenging BJP’s sitting Lalwani MP, suddenly changed the campaign. Indore is the constituency that falls in the fourth phase of the elections on May 13, for polling on 13.05.2023.

Thanks to his withdrawal, Kailash Vijayvargiya, a senior spokesperson of the ruling BJP and the MLA representing Indore, bid a warm welcome to him to join the party. Vijayvargiya said hello & had a photo of them two on their road trip together on his Twitter handle, formerly known as X.

This development now forms part of the Sudden loss of internal coherence of the newly elected Congress party. This year, sincerely taking care of this, Another Congress candidate in Surat was also withdrawn from the election because the committee unexpectedly rejected his nomination. Even the party’s alternative candidate, who is replacing the loser candidate for the seat, faced a similar end.

With the Lok Sabha elections facing obstacles one after another, the Congress party seems to have had a hard time so far. At the same time, its political rivals can hold the trump cards to take further advantage of the situation. The results of the Gujarat elections, including Bundelkhand and others, are awaited in the political lens as the announcement of the date of the outcome is June 4.
