The decomposed body of a civil services aspirant who belonged to Rajasthan’s Dausa was found hanging from a tree in a forest area near the library of a coaching institute library in northwest Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area.

According to the police, Deepak Kumar Meena, a youth, came to Delhi in July to prepare for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) main exam. He has been missing for the last ten days.

The police had launched a search operation after registering a missing complaint with the police.

They recovered his body from the bushes near the Dussehra ground in the Mukherjee Nagar area.

According to a PTI report, a senior policeman said it was suspected that Meena had committed suicide.

\”CCTV cameras have been checked, and it is suspected to be a case of suicide. A probe is underway,\” the senior cop said.

Meena’s father, CL Meena, said to the cops that his son used to call home every evening, and the last time his family spoke with him was on September 10.

When Meena did not call from September 11-13, his father went to Delhi and searched for his son.

CL Meena also visited his PG, where he was staying. His roommates informed him that his son had not returned for two days. He then filed a complaint at Mukherjee Nagar police station.
