Delhi Minister Atishi questions the enforcement directorate’s actions against BJP leaders

In what seems to be a subtle effort to lash out at the BJP for the actions of their party leaders, Delhi Minister Atishi has questioned the move made by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the cases of alleged money laundering. During a live press conference in Delhi, the seasoned AAP politician criticized the Election Commission, causing a scene that seemed to be a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led coup.

The Election Commission had issued a notice to Atishi in response to her claims that the BJP had approached her with an ultimatum: they would either elect their party with their own enemy first, either join or face arrest by the Enforcement Directorate within 30 days.

Having pointed out her discontent, Atishi has criticized that the ED had detained AAP leaders Sandeep Gadoliya and even the national convener of their party, Arvind Kejriwal, solely on suspicion with no trace of a money track on them.

Denying her question, the ED official went on to question her integrity over seeking her queries in such a manner, especially when they could have built a case against the opposition leader.

The party of the AAP had asked the ED to do the work a case in the last month claiming that the BJP had got substantial sum of money through electoral bonds from a person that was accused since he was involved in alleged Delhi excise policy scam.

Even At the press meet Atishi pointed to the BJP for misutilising the election commission as well as the central institution for their own brutal agenda to tame the political opposition. She elaborated that the BJP should not exploit the aforementioned departmental bodies but, rather, discuss their demands in a candid manner through elections.
