The Delhi Police has been on its toes in the course of the Home Ministry’s complaint about Doctored videos of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, including its mainstream internet and platforms. The Special Cell has lodged an FIR under the provision of applicable sections of the IPC and IT Act, and the arrestees are believed to start rolling out immediately.
The complaint, filed by Sinku Sharan Singh, DC, at the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), elucidates that fake videos on the web are tools used by disruptors in society, deteriorating communal harmony and the safety of law and order at large.
To bolster the exploration effort, the individual who complained has provided evidence of the links on which these videos have been posted, thus allowing for a deeper analysis. Also, Anne was given a perishable copy of the FIR to share with Delhi Cyber Police’s IFSO unit to make them participants in this ongoing investigation.
