Delhi votes: CM Kejriwal casts ballot, urges citizens to exercise their democratic right

The AAP chief similarly helped amplify the mood of several institutions as he cast his vote today in Delhi, which went to polls today. Accompanied by his family members, Kejriwal exercised his franchise at a polling station, sensitizing the populace on the importance of voting.

“Yes, I have voted against inflation, unemployment, and authoritarianism,” Kejriwal told newsmen who accosted him after casting his vote. His wife, Sunita, and their children joined the chief minister. This shows that societal members do not go it alone during the electoral exercise.

The voting for the seven Lok Sabha seats spread across Delhi continued today, and Kejriwal has cast his vote for the seat. Speaking to the media, the Aam Aadmi Party AAP leader encouraged all eligible voters to vote despite the hot weather.

“I want to appeal all the voters: It’s very hot now, but please, don’t stay home, vote!”

Kejriwal stressed he had to focus on the problem of voters’ activity.
