Deve Gowda breaks silence on family sex scandal, demands action

A major development came to light when the expert of the Janata Dal (Secular) party and the former Chief Minister HD Devegowda spoke his mind about the sexual harassment case involving his son and grandson Revanna and Prajwal Revanna.

While addressing the media after his visit to a temple in Bengaluru, the 92-year-old veteran continued saying that anyone should have no doubt in taking foolproof action against all those involved in the cynical crime and that no one should be spared from this incident.

Gowda asserted that many other people were involved in the case besides just his family members, and the list of implicated individuals was long. “Prajwal went to an outside (country)” after one year. HD Kumaraswamy already stated that action as per law should have been taken.

I will stand and stay with them until their last breath. Many are engaged in it, too, and those who are involved should be mentioned when there is an action, of course, he said.

The BJP leader’s claims that there indeed was an attempt to corner the PM’s family along with himself were not denied by the previous PM of the country. Gowda refrained from revealing the specific names of the perpetrators, but she did underscore the fact that the victims must be safeguarded from any further harassment and adverse effects.

Gowda’s daughter, H. D. Revanna, who is JD-S MLA, was out on bail in such a case of kidnapping just recently. At the same time, the search astray for Prajwal Revanna, who is a JD(S) Lok Sabha MP and the prime accused in the sex video case, is currently in progress.

When Deve Gowda says the family is on the rack, people demand that they start an investigation and want to know everything.
