Recounting their cherished tradition, PM Modi visited their mother’s residence in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, seeking her blessings before casting his vote. However, Hiraba passed away in December 2022, leaving a void in their lives.
Emotionally speaking outside a polling booth in Ranip, within the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, where PM Modi cast his vote, Somabhai expressed, “My mother is no more. But she must be blessing Narendrabhai from heaven right now.” The sentiment resonated with the teary-eyed brother.
