Gurpatwant Singh Pannun murder plot allegations: The family of a former Indian government employee who the United States indicted in a murder-for-hire plot case has dismissed the allegations, saying the US government has not been telling the truth.

An ex-employee of the Indian government, Vikash Yadav, has been indicted by the US government for his alleged involvement in the alleged plot to kill Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in the United States.

Yadav’s mother, Sudesh Yadav, said she was still in shock after the reports were carried in the media. “He had been working for the country.”

She wondered if the US government was telling the truth when it accused Vikash Yadav of raising the amount to hire a man of Indian origin to kill Pannun.

What do I say? I don’t know whether the US government is telling the truth. He has been working for the country, ” she told Reuters.

The US authorities have accused Vikash Yadav of raising money for hiring a man of Indian origin to murder Pannun.

Relatives of Yadav in the Pranpura village, around 100 kilometers from Delhi, have denied reports.

The news agency quoted his cousin as saying that the Yadav family lives in a small house in a village in Haryana.
