Fatal rejection: Woman brutally stabbed for refusing neighbour’s proposal

A horrible occurrence happened in Hubbali, Karnataka, where a 20-year-old woman died in a most horrible stabbing. The motive for this terrible act seems to be that her neighbour’s advances were rejected.

It is said that Girish Sawant, a 21-year-old, allegedly entered Anjali Ambigera’s house in the early morning when she was asleep, and that’s when the brutal attack with a knife started. Currently, Sawant is still on the move, and he does not want to be caught by the authorities.

The sources show that Anjali had been under the pressure of Girish to become romantically involved, a thing she rejects yet. This is the reason the assault started. The disturbing pictures showed the heart-rending scene of the relatives in deep mourning, and the sorrow increased as more and more families were affected by this tragic event.

The Police Chief of Hubbali-Dharwad, Gopal Byakod, announced that the killing was reported in Veerapur Oni village. “We have submitted a case and are now conducting a comprehensive investigation to find out the reason for this awful incident. A special team was formed to catch the crime generator,” he said.

This dreadful event just came after another horrible campus murder in Hubbali. Just a few days ago, 23-year-old Neha Hiremath was the victim of her former classmate Fayaz Khondunaik, who quite often stabbed her at the location.

Regretfully, although she was speeding to the hospital, Neha passed away due to her wounds. In the course of the police interrogation, the assailant admitted that he had been in a relationship with Neha, which she had suddenly ended, thus giving a clue to the motive behind his vicious act.
