Commenting on a stunning revelation, Congress already extended a bizarre invitation to the club to Varun. This is a kind of wake-up call to Mr. Rahul after his own party, the BJP, has declined his re-nomination from his current seat.
The statement made by Congress leader Adhir Chowdhury that Varun was not considered to be an outstanding candidate & the rejection comes because he is the only grandson of former PM Indira Gandhi.
Seemingly, he noticed that for the BJP, his Gandhi lineage would be a point that, while it was unable to overlook, a warmer welcome might wait elsewhere for him.
