Grenade attack on Army post in Poonch; No casualties reported

In a shocking incident, terrorists attacked an Army post in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir early on Wednesday, lobbing two grenades at the facility. According to officials, only one grenade exploded while the other did not explode and was defused by experts later.

Fortunately, no one was killed in this attack. The blast took place behind an Army camp in the Surankote area. After the blast, security forces immediately launched a search operation to find the attackers. The safety pin of the grenade that exploded was found near the boundary wall of the Army camp, indicating that the attack was very close.

Following the incident, the Army and local police launched an all-out search operation to trace the terrorists, who succeeded in escaping from the scene of the assault. Security forces remain vigilant as they work to ensure safety in the region.
