Guna airstrip plane crash injures two pilots

Generated shock when a two-seater plane of a private aviation academy in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh crashed at the local airstrip on Sunday. The above accident involved an aircraft categorized as a Cessna 152, which had, unfortunately, crashed after developing a mechanical fault after taking off from the airstrip and flying for around 40 minutes.

The locals said the plane might have developed a mechanical problem, specifically the engine, and crashed at around 1:30 in the afternoon. The two pilots on board were quickly evacuated to the nearby hospital, and they are currently admitted to receiving treatment for the injuries they received.

“The accident happened when the plane was conducting test flight as well as check flights,” the report by Times of India added more details to the mishap.

This is a typical season tragedy that strains the emergency services, as several operational brigade crews were sent to the airstrip after the accident. Moreover, an investigation has been launched to establish the cause of the crash. Law enforcement agencies have stated that a full brief will be given once the investigation is over.

It has caused fear among the local aviation companies and the airstrip at Guna over the safety measures in the event of such a calamity. Leaders of the respective departments have pledged to conduct an investigation into the incident to prevent such calamities in the future.
