IAF commanders’ conference focuses on multi-domain warfare readiness

The need for an increased state of multi-domain warfare readiness and operational preparedness has led the Western Command of the Indian Air Force to conduct a two-day Commanders’ Conference in New Delhi on December 6 and 7.

Led by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, the conference aligned the strategic objectives of the Air Force with its vision of self-reliance and combat excellence.

During the discussions, Air Chief Marshal Singh emphasized the importance of this year’s theme: “Bharatiya Vayu Sena – Sashakt, Saksham, Atmanirbhar” (Indian Air Force – Empowered, Capable, Self-Reliant). The commanders were called upon to give special emphasis to capacity building and institute realistic training to meet the challenges of the future.

Singh emphasized focused progress in selected areas, which are enhancement of operational capability through better training and planning, early operationalization of newly inducted equipment, safety, and nurturing leadership at all levels to develop a cohesive, future-ready force.
