Latest, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron have decided to enhance the defence ties more strategically with a special focus on the Make in India process. Both leaders met aside the G7 Summit in Italy, showing the significance of a thump India-France partnership to support political stability in the world.
Per the readout from the Ministry of External Affairs, the leaders stressed ‘Make in India’ and decided to advance the strategic defense cooperation visibly. France is amongst the pillars of Indian strategic vision in Europe and has been a significant player in boosting the country’s defence and security systems.
This three-year trade also included other cooperation topics between Modi and Macron in nuclear energy, space activities, education, climate change, digital platforms, infrastructures, connectivity, and cultural exchange.
Both leaders stressed that it was necessary to strengthen communication between India and France. They described the cooperation between the two countries as a vigorous and reliable strategic partnership that should be aimed at creating a stable and productive world order.
The scheduled meeting between the Indian Prime Minister and the French President shows a growing strategic partnership between the two countries as they seek to venture home foreign initiatives to cultivate peace and security in the region.
