Tech CEO, Former Wrestler Tie Knot in Luxurious Egypt Wedding.
Ankur Jain, CEO of Bilt Rewards, and former WWE wrestler Erika Hammond got married in an opulent ceremony held in front of the iconic Great Pyramids in Egypt on April 26th. Reports state over 130 celebrity guests including Lance Bass, Michael Turchin, Robin Thicke, Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary and influencer Serena Kerrigan witnessed the nuptials in Cairo.
The couple assured attendees of private Egypt Air transportation from their African safari to the wedding venue. Though briefly halted by South Africa, their welcome party commenced three hours late.
Held at Muhammed Ali Palace with a ‘Modern Cairo’ theme, dance performances by belly dancers and fire acts entertained the gathering. Photos showed the bride and groom partying with guests till dawn.
Jain had planned to wed in space, but the unconventional idea was scrapped due to the bride’s reluctance. During the ceremony, she commented on seeing the magnificent venue for the first time.
Emphasizing their non-conformist approach, the entrepreneur stated extravagant flower budgets are illogical. Reports mention the couple omitted traditional elements like wedding parties and cakes, leaving most planning to coordinators.
The New York-based duo said exchanging vows amidst friends in the unique Egyptian setting was perfect to celebrate their new chapter away from familiar surroundings.
