Influencer’s tragic fall at Kumbhe waterfall highlights safety concerns

Unfortunately, this again highlighted the risks of capturing the perfect picture. A 26-year-old Instagram food blogger from Mumbai lost her life while trying to take the perfect picture near a waterfall located in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. He was tripping with friends and had many followers on social media; he later met his death by falling into a 300-feet deep gorge in Kumbhe waterfall on July 16.

Aanvi had gone to shoot the beautiful scenery with a group of seven friends, intending to shoot the majestuous monsoon-fed waterfalls. However, the vlogging turned into a sad scene around 10:30 am when Aanvi tripped and fell into a steep hole while filming.

The local administration immediately reacted to the problem, and rescuers – the Coast Guard, the Kolad rescue party, and MSEB arrived on the scene shortly. They pulled out 20 bodies in the operation, which took six hours, which was restricted by steep hillsides and rain.

The rescuer told DNN,

“As soon as we landed there, we knew that the girl had fallen nearly 300-350 feet. Here, too, it was a problem to lift her. She was in severe pain and pouring rain therefore, we used the vertical pulley to evacuate her. ”

However, the government and medical team did their best; Aanvi died from her critical injuries while being transferred to the Managaon sub-district hospital.

After the mishap, the local administrators put out the word to apprehend tourists and the general public, encouraging travellers to be careful and avoid venturing into the lovely Sahyadri ranges unprepared. They explained that their objectives needed to include the prevention of behaviours that pose a risk to the lives of human beings.

Aanvi is famous for their passion for monsoon tourism and her attractive profile on such social networks as Instagram. Sadly, she is no longer part of this world. Her demise has affected her fans and family and has acted as a wake-up call for those who engage in reckless tourism.
