Italian head of government Giorgia Meloni has eulogized newly re-elected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third time following the outcomes of the Lok Sabha polls. Meloni felt sure that these two leaders would contribute much and engage themselves to foster friendly relations between Italy and India and enhance cooperation in all facets for the benefit of both countries and peoples.

Lok Sabha election results show the BJP led NDA being in a position to form its third successive government at the Centre however the Margin appears to be slightly colder to the exit poll results. NDA will manage to secure 291 seats to be followed by INDIA bloc with 234 seats while the rest of other parties will be securing 18 seats.
In his speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the victory as a triumph of ‘Viksit Bharat’ – the development of India, ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’– everyone’s goodwill towards collective progress and the faith of people in the Indian constitution. He observed that a government is now in power for the third time in a row, which according to him, is a first after 1962, making new history after six decades.
PM of Nepal Prachanda, SL President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Mauritius PM Pravind Jugnauth have also felicitated PM Modi on the occasion of NDA victory.
