In the latest development of the loosely wrapped story active at the Jaipur airport, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has flatly denied the charge of sexual harassment, which a female employee of SpiceJet has filed against an ASI of the force.
CISF sources also said that the abuse charge was a counterblast, which was reported after the officer who lodged a complaint against a SpiceJet employee at CISF refused to withdraw his complaint.
CISF SOURCES quoted: ‘The video and eyewitnesses’ account do not support the allegations of the female employee under threat. It seems to be a vindictive act,’ a top news daily reported.
The incident occurred on Thursday when Anuradha Rani, a ground staff member belonging to the Indian airline company SpiceJet, was arrested for taking the unlawful act of slapping a CISF officer on duty over a certain disagreement regarding the security checks. After that, Anuradha leveled an assault case against the CISF officer and accused him of making some indecent remarks.
Speaking about the incident, a superintending CISF officer said that the male employee of SpiceJet grew aggressive upon not finding any lady CISF staffers for the mandatory search at the gate.
The case when the young lady accused a popular actor of rape received an unprecedented response; however, it is still unclear how the conflict will be solved as the investigation is currently open.
