After a huge controversy over comments by Amit Shah on Ambedkar, Kejriwal wrote a letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, asking him to “reflect deeply.”
After AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar asking him to “deeply reflect” on Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s remarks on Dr. BR Ambedkar in the Parliament, the Janata Dal (United) responded fiercely in defense of Shah, accusing Congress of insulting the architect of the Constitution.
JD(U) chief Sanjay Kumar Jha responded to Kejriwal’s letter, saying, “I can understand your pain. Your pain is that the leader of your opposition alliance, Rahul Gandhi, his party, and his family’s actions were being exposed… What Congress did with Babasaheb Ambedkar was being exposed to the public.”
Reacting strongly to Kejriwal’s letter, Jha said Rahul Gandhi and the Congress do not want the truth to be exposed. He further highlighted that Nitish Kumar’s government has worked for Dalits and OBCs, following in Ambedkar’s footsteps. He slammed Kejriwal for neglecting Dalits and backtracking on promises.
