Such an unpleasant incident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district has led the local police to start a ruthless hunt for the terror network in the area. The event in which four personnel of the Indian Army, including an officer, were killed in the militant attack led the authorities to take action.
The alleged meeting happened in the Desa area of Doda, which fell in the counter-terror grid. The firing was first reported to be from the Kalaan Bhata area and then from near Panchan Bhata, which turned dreadful, and lives were lost. The deceased army personals are Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra and Sepoy Ajay.
It has been established that the assault was a planned operation; the terrorists launched grenades, armour-piercing bullets, and an M4 assault rifle. As a result, Jammu and Kashmir Police have amped up its operation and have arrested several overground workers and supporters of the militants.
The latter has reminded me of the fact that the act of terrorism is still an undeniable problem in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Some of the vital elements that will be observed include the authorities’ tangible activities and commitment to removing terror compartments in the area to secure citizens’ lives.
