Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal thrashed the BJP for planting “false cases” only for the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members. Jhadav leveled the accusation as AAP moved on to the BJP office in New Delhi to protest the incarcerations of its party leaders.
In the end, Kejriwal says that even though money trails have been traced to the protesters, no one has given the Indian courts the finances or the funding reports. “By the minute, they are jailing our leaders as they arrive,” he burst out and declared that the walk-to-deliver-the-petition shall happen.
On the other hand, Delhi Police denied permission to protesters, arguing that the same has no permission and Section 144, which allows you to call off any large gatherings. A barrier was put at the edge of the BJP office, making it difficult for people to approach the place. Moreover, the access to the Metro Station at ITO was also closed.
Kejriwal accused the BJP of being involved in “Operation Jhaadu.” According to him, the party will prevent AAP from using its bank accounts after the Lok Sabha elections. He challenged Modi, the prime minister, to decide who among the AAP leaders, including himself, will be locked up; Matushkow will oblige!
AAP and BJP have produced an endless struggle, which Delhi knows very well. AAP points out that the central party has utilized the BJP agencies to accuse the leaders. Backing up on the last few years, the AAP and its officials, including Kejriwal, have been caught in many legal cases. Some of the party candidates were bound up in jail because of this.
