Kejriwal responds to Modi: “Our work is people’s blessing”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Delhi government, describing it as “AAPda” and saying that the people of the city have waged a war against it.

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday reacted sharply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘AAPada for Delhi’ jibe at the party and said that the government’s work is “not AAPda but people’s blessings. “

Our work is not ‘AAPda’ but people’s aashirwaad,” Kejriwal said at a press conference, as the political temperatures in the national capital rise in the run-up to the Assembly Elections due next month.

In 2020, the PM made a few promises to the people of Delhi…. He said that till 2022, everyone in Delhi will get a house. Today, in 2025, PM Modi handed over the keys to 1700 homes and gave keys to 3000 houses in Kalka Ji some time ago. In total, he has given keys to 4700 houses in 5 years.

Delhi has 4 lakh slums, and 15 lakh people need homes. It looks like their manifesto was for 200 years instead of 5 years, the AAP chief said, jibing at PM Modi. This morning, the Prime Minister visited Swabhiman Apartments in Ashok Vihar, where newly constructed flats were being built for the residents of Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters under the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project. He also distributed keys to the beneficiaries.

He addressed a public meeting in Ashok Vihar’s Ramlila Ground and attacked the Delhi government over “sheesh mahal,” the name the BJP has coined for the new Chief Minister’s residence in the city.
