It’s been a week since Atishi took oath as Delhi’s new chief minister. However, Arvind Kejriwal has not vacated the chief minister’s official residence in Civil Lines.
The AAP leadership said Saturday that Kejriwal would soon move out of the CM’s residence while an intensive search for a new home is underway.
The AAP supremo said he would vacate the Civil Lines home during Navratri, which would commence in the first week of October.
The search for a house for the Kejriwal family has intensified in the last few weeks. The former chief minister wants to be close to his assembly constituency in New Delhi, as “he intends to remain connected with the people there.”

According to a statement by AAP, Kejriwal is looking for a home that not only serves as a base for his work but also makes it easy for him to travel to every nook and corner of the city and connect with people there.
